     All those who have walked 114 miles at approximately 3 miles per hour in 7 days please raise your hand. Whew, that's like over 16 miles per day!!!

   You must realize by now that these walkers realy believe in what they are trying to accomplish because I'm telling you that this is no picnic folks. It takes dedication, perseverence, and courage to take this kind of action.

   This rest day was much needed. Only one day had showers. Clothes needed to be washed. Blisters needed mending and sleep was greatly needed. The first week is the toughest, not that they get much easier but you get used to the pain after a while and it dosen't bother you as much as when you first start.

   Expectations are very high and community support was fabulous. "Just let me SLEEP now, I'll be ready in the morning!"
