Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance
     The Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance is a grassroots group with more than 3,000 members that is working to stop nuclear weapons production at the Y12 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In 1998, OREPA launched the Stop the Bombs campaign to educate, organize and mobilize broad public opposition to continued bomb production. Since 1998, OREPA has made more that 500 presentations on nuclear weapons issues, more than 3,000 people have come to Oak Ridge to demonstarte against nuclear weapons production, and hundreds have been arrested for acts of civil disobedience.
