Subject: Jeremy will be home the beginning of June.

Hi,

Jeremy will be home the beginning of June, while I am thrilled he is coming home, I realize it comes at a price. In order for Jeremy and others in his unit to come home, another unit, other people's loved ones have had to take his place. This is a bittersweet time for myself, families with loved ones in uniform, fellow peace and antiwar activists and those living under U.S. occupation. It was the lies and the deceptions of Bush and his administration that endangered and continues to endanger our loved ones and taken the lives of someone else's loved ones and has further decimated Iraq. President Bush has trampled on international laws, the international community, our allies and the very freedoms we used to have at home. The greatest danger to our Armed Forces is their own commander and chief. The greatest danger to our country and the global community is not small groups of terrorists with limited cash, they are no match for the dangers poised by an aggressor nation (the U.S.) spending well over a billion dollars a day on its military, at the expense of education, health care, and other programs that help the majority of Americans. I have to ask do you feel safer today than you did before Bush took office? As fellow citizens, I ask each of you to become an informed citizens, to ask questions and seek honest answers, don't let the news spoon feed you what they want you to hear and don't think the president can't lie. Have you forgotten all the past scandals and lies that have come out of the White House? Read the link below, you will find it

interesting.http://www.9-11commission.gov/hearings/hearing1/witness_kleinberg.ht\ m

I will not be standing at a victory parade, I will not be thanking our troops for preserving our freedoms but I will support them by loving them and continuing to work to bring them all home from Iraq, Afghanistan, etc -long after the victory parades are only memories in the minds of most Americans, as they go back to the business of life as 'usual'.

Love and peace, Jeff

We will be flying home between the 2nd and 6th of June so you can let everyone know. Of course we are working long hours now cleaning equipment as we have to be ready to load a boat as early as the 21st of this month. Hopefully we'll load later though as it will suck to sit around from the 21st through the 2nd. Well I will talk to you later.

Love, Jeremy
