We said our last good bye to Scotland as we crossed over the border into England today.

Dan was very excited as he slowly makes his way back home to London.

Within a mile into England we were greeted by a Ministry of Defence weapons ammunition depot which has been in operation for over 50 years.

On a happier note we were also greeted by Rachel and Frank from Carlisle Quakers’ who came to join us for the day. Their smiling faces and warm personalities gave us energy to finish the days’ walk in great strength. Thank you.

Yu-chan is great with children. She spent her last night in Scotland playing and showing young children how to make peace cranes. Even though she was very tired at the end of the walk she managed to spend hours with the children with lots of energy and laughing. We will miss Yu-chan’s beautiful energy as she leaves the walk from Carlisle.
