Day Log Index

After light rain fell in the morning as we said our goodbyes to Beryl and Broughton the day turned out to be beautiful and sunny. Long winding back roads through more farms, paddocks and over hills with sheep & lambs baaing at us continually we had a great walk. Cows continue to moo at us and stare on as we walk past their homes.

We enjoyed lunch in the sun on the side of the road at Spark Bridge.

As we couldn’t get into the St. Anne’s Church until after 8.00pm we met our host and organizer Helen Tyas at the Anglers Arms for dinner and enjoyed a hot dinner at the pub. Thanks to a generous donation from our Scottish friend Duncan.
