We had a pretty full day today, with lots of different happenings.   Allison joined us to walk up and over Settle with the raging flood waters beside us, reminding us just how much rain had fallen over the last few days. The view from the top was fantastic.   We had a stand off with the Highlands’ – not amused with us passing through their fields.   We watched the canal boats at lunch. With Hattie managing to have a nosey on the inside of one!!   After lunch we were met by a camera crew that ran a short piece on the walk, and we wonder if that will ever screen. Apparently it is a series of “life on the canals”, they laughed when we asked if we were the most ‘peculiar’ pieces of life they had come across??
