John Toren, Larry Crane, Jon Blickenstaff and Jim Toren gather for a group picture before starting the Earth Day Run from Little Turtle monument in Covington KY to Eastfork Lake which is about 7 miles east of Amelia OH.

Jon Blickenstaff took the first segment of the run becuase he had to leave early due to another ingagement. His ten miles got us off to a good start.

Jon Blickenstaff has been FootPrints For Peace's best long distance runner for many years. He is shown here on US 52 which he will stay on until just short of the Little Miami River.

Larry Crane is on US 125 about 4 miles short of our goal. Larry has been on all the previous Earth Day runs and is a fervent activist for Sacred Mother Earth.

John "mad cow" Toren is approaching the lake which is a few tenths of a mile up and down the hill he is walking.

Jim Toren took over from father John and finished the last few tenth arriving at the lake about five minutes from where he is at now. Jim is a co-founder of FootPrints For Peace and plans all the events that are performed.

With Eastfork lake in the background John Toren, Larry Crane and Jim Toren stand together for a final picture. Jon Blickenstaff who also took part is absent from the picture due to other commitments. These four guys are commited to doing everything in their power to protect and serve Sacred Mother Earth.
