May 27th,2008    Greetings from Appalachia, the great grandmother mountains of North Carolina. Although I cannot be with you to walk every mile on your brave pilgrimage, know that my love is with you every step of the way and that there is a great wave of solidarity rolling from these mountains. The threads of prayer that you are sewing for a world free from the great nuclear threat are felt all the way here and throughout the world.
