July 10th,2008    hope all is well on the walk. we just heard of the massive spill that happened at the Tricastin nuclear facility (taka got an email in japanese from the rokkasho elist) it said that 30,000 litres spilled, containing 12g of uranium for every litre of water. we have no idea where this happened in relation to where you are on the walk at the moment...but prayers for the walkers and the communities you have visited on the way... the email says that 3 villages nearby have restrictions on water usage...(?!) because of contamination fears....(?!) big love and wishes for safe walking to you all, and prayers for an end to this madness.
