In late February Marcus Atkinson, Nat, Bilbo Taylor, "K A", Takashige Arai, Shigeko Nakajima, Inge, and others arrived at various locations in the States. Some came to Atlanta to join Brother Utsumi and Sister Denise from the Atlanta Dojo on their annual Selma Walk. Others made straight for Knoxville to start organizing this walk. By March 13th, 2005 the International Peace Pilgrimage core group had arrived in Oak Ridge ready to begin this historic walk. 
Whoa! Almost left out Taka! Taka was on the Selma walk with Utsumi, Denise, Inge, Nat and others and had just arrived at Oak Ridge.
