International Peace Pilgrimage
Why We Walk!

If I had a dollar for every time me or me mates have been asked "Why do you do these things?" I be rich enough to buy all the nuclear bombs and dispose of them myself.

I suppose there are a lot of reasons we do these pilgrimages and I'll try to explain some of them as time goes by. I am going to start with the most basic reason. We are making an effort to see that the human suffering caused by the use of these horrible weapons never happens again.

I do not have the words to describe the suffering but if you are interested I invite you to read some of the narratives contained in Hiroshima Survivors. Maybe then you will know one of the reasons why we walk.
