Maralinga - Atomic Bomb Testing This picture was described as Series: Buffalo, Code Name: Breakaway. This was one of the bomb tests done by the British in Australia on October 22nd, 1956. I could not verify this picture but one thing for sure, Maralinga was a testing site and the damage these tests caused is still being felt by the people of Australia.
