Stop The Bombs International Peace Walk
Day 37 - Voices
Raccoon

We crossed theborder between Maryland and Pennsylvania earlier this week and there were many monuments to remind us of wars that have occurred in those places. Now with this walk we sound drums of peace and bring healing to these places where only drums of war have sounded in the past.

I am also reminded every day of the continuum of the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Early spring flowers bloom around us in trees and close to earth, yet i see the winter stalks still standing from plants long passed.

As i walk my shadow walks with me and we are inseparable and both resolute and beautiful. I am woven in this and thankful to be here.

Love Raccoon
