Jun San, front center on the blanket, surrounded by Takashige Arai, Meagen Kresge, Han Lin , from Burma, and Tyler Vega, leads the early morning inter - faith prayer vigil. The prayer ceremony is done every morning at dawn, and the group usually grows in number as people awaken. It has become one of the favorite times for many of the walkers, getting their inspiration for the long walking day ahead.
