| The Run For Freedom is now an annual event that will take place the last weekend in June. The purpose of this run is to bring about public awareness of injustice. The main focus is to support Leonard Peltier. |

The run begins at 8am at Chief Little Turtle Monument at Taylor Park on Riverside Drive in Covington Kentucky. Keep in mind that you do not have to run, anyone who wants to participate in any manner is welcome. |

The first day of the run will be to the Williamsburg/Owensville area where overnight accomodations will be made. The second day of the run will be to Serpent Mound where the
closing ceremony will be held. |
