Brian lives in Seattle Washington. When asked how he happend to be with the SCA he said "I have been involved with the SCA for three years. I used to go camping with my dad but he had to change jobs so we had to stop. Now I see it is a good way to go camping and at the same time do something good for the environment so this beauty will be around when my kids get older."
Brian went on to say: "I like being in the outdoors, being dirty and having a reason to be dirty, eating from a camp stove and hearing the prayers not the sirens. I don't see to many stars in Seattle but out here I see them all. The most rewarding thing about coming on this trip is the silence and the peace you have. But in doing what we do, like all of us, insuring that the generation that comes after us can say ' I'm glad somebody kept up these trails so I can walk on them.' That's the most rewarding thing out here." By Peacehq |
