The 8th annual Run for Freedom, June 26th and 27th, 2004 This year's run will be in support of Leonard Peltier. A citizen of the Anishinabe and Dakota/Lakota Nations who, in our opinion, has been unjustly imprisoned since 1976. The run will start at the Chief Little Turtle Statue in Covington Kentucky on Saturday June 26 at 7:30am and will finish on June 27th at Serpent Mound in Peebles Ohio. We will have a overnight on the 26th. You will need to bring the following equipment: tent, sleeping bag, towel, soap, shampoo, and your own dish and silverware.
