John carries the latest Run For Freedom Staff. The Staff is always with the lead runner at the head of the run. John was just finishing his miles about 4 miles east of Williamsburg when Larry snapped this picture. John also has on an "old" t-shirt from the Walk For Justice back in 94 and only wears it once a year now for the run for Leonard. It has seen a lot of miles and is getting kind of raggedy but it will never be fully retired as long as Leonard remains in prison.
