SOAW Run - 2004
Reflections

After spending saturday night with our friends at the Vine and Fig Tree, we spent sunday at the protest at the gates of Ft. Benning. By early evening we were eating dinner at a local family home cooking restaurant in Columbus, fueling our bodies for another all night mad dash back to Atlanta (where we dropped Devin off at the airport), then Knoxville (where we dropped Meagan off at her sisters house), then on to Lexington Ky. (where I was dropped of at Peace Hostel Lex.), and finally on to Cincinnati where the rest of the runners reside. All in all an intense, exhausting, and exhilarating road trip that could have used 2 extra days to complete, ah, but that is the allure of the road, eh! Since this was our final event for 2004, all of us have been able to rest up this winter for the round of 2005, which promises to be even bigger, better, and more exciting than 2004, and we here at Peace Hq and Footprints for Peace believe it will generate, catalog and archive the further adventures of the "Hope Is Alive In The World" demonstration projects! Keep walking, running, praying, and remember - Never give up - We can make a difference - We Love You All, and the thought of seeing you somewhere down the road keeps us going forward!!!!!!!

TIL THE AM!
