April 29th,1986 US-nuclear submarine "Atlanta" hits the ground off Gibralta U.S.S. "Atlanta" ran aground in Straits of Gibraltar, punching a hole in ballast tank. Officials said no radiation leaked and no crew members were hurt. (WISE NC 262 31/10/86) |
