Hi,
I have to update you on my son, Jeremy. First, I have to say before Jeremy was deployed he told me not to quote political statements he made to me. I have done my best to honor that, while a few articles I have been interviewed for, came close to the line.
This morning I had an email from Jeremy I would love to share but unfortunately I can't, I had a somewhat similar email after I wrote another long night after a blackhawk went down. Yesterday I had sent him by email, George McGovern's article. My last letter I sent to Jeremy, was 12 typed pages long, two of which were my writing, so he has been receiving lots of info from me to read when he gets a chance. So without quoting him I will say I believe he will turn this experience into a positive one, not only for himself but for others.
I hope that all our loved ones and everyone in uniform will be able to do the same.
Jeremy is back in Kuwait and will only be in Iraq to do medevac missions. He is hoping replacements will be taking over soon, so his unit can pack up and head home. He should becoming home in the next 50-80 days.
Peace, Jeff
