With our busy schedule over the last week we decided to put a rest day in soon after leaving Leeds, and I think this was a very good decision as many walkers where feeling tired.

So we walked out of Wakefield with John from the Quaker Friends Meeting House who showed us the route that wound down through the trees to a beautiful lake.

Julia who we met at the Faslane Peace Camp has been walking with us for nearly a week and today was her last walking day with us. Julia had been up at the Peace Camp for 3 months when we arrived and welcomed us into the camp with such enthusiasm and friendliness. It was so great she was able to make the walk as she gave me such inspiration and her huge brightness and fun for life was fantastic to be around. Always singing always happy, Julia brought great energy to the walk – thank you so very much!!.
