Chief Little Turtle monument is in Covington KY at the confluence of the Ohio and Licking rivers. The is a lot of wild life in this area. Among the many critters one can see here are some ground hogs that live in a cavern beneath the steps that lead down the rivers edge. Seen here is a Momma and her baby eating some bread that a very kind person threw down to them.

These hogies have been seeing us off for some years now and it really is fun seeing them run about.
