I remember a few years back on the Stop The Bombs walk we had some folks from Japan walking with us. They couldn't believe how much garbage Americans just tossed out the windows of their vehicles.

Anyone who walks the streets and highways or checks out the river banks and streams knows just how mindless Americans are of the damage they do to Mother Earth by their carelessness. We should be ashamed of ourselves for treating this Earth the way we do here in this country.
