Run For Freedom

The end is near. This is the entrance to Serpent Mound. We thought if would be a fitting place to have the close of the run. It was originally used in 2002 when most of the runners were in Australia for the Sacred Run and running to Kansas was just not possible.

The mound area is beautiful and fitting for Leonard. At least that's how we felt in 2002 when we decided on it. Last year's run was made to Lewisburg PA where they moved Leonard from Leavenworth. Lewisburg was a bit to far since we had three more runners last year as well as a few on the road joiners.
