The Parker House is a National Historic Site. Brother NorthStar is reading the Memorial Marker commemorating this site. As you can see it was bitter cold with 3-4 inches of snow on the ground. I could not help but think back about reading Uncle Tom's cabin and the description of how Eliza made her desperate journey across the river. It was a fitting day for this visit.
