Peacewalk August 2003

Jim Toren from FootPrints For Peace along with Mark Webb, whose head you can barely see on the left, and Jon Blickenstaff, just to the right of Jim with the cap on, made the first run in solidarity with the Atlanta Dojo Peace Pilgrimage. It has long been a vision of Brother Utsumi and Sister Denise to have a walk from each of the four directions converge on Oak Ridge at the same time. Footprints For Peace has now established the northern segment so future actions will see both groups in action at the same time leaving their footprints for peace and justice on the highways and byways of America.

The FootPrints For Peace guys started at Portsmith Ohio and ran to Oak Ridge Tennessee. They have just arrived and are being greeted by the Atlanta pilgrims.
