As part of the ceremony a walk is made from the rallying point down the fields to the gate at the Y12 complex. Symbolic bodies and coffins representing those who have died because of nuclear pollutions and usage are carried in the procession.

Peacemaker Erik Johnson, on the left, is carrying one of the symbolic coffins. Erik has been involved in many actions including the SOAW protest at Fort Benning Georgia and is a former Prisoner Of Conscience having served six months in FCI Manchester for civil disobedience at the SOAW protest at Fort Benning. He was also selected Peacemaker Of The Year in 2003 by OREPA.
