Kip was arrested briefly on the 2nd to last day in her home town
of Natick
(?)
Two walks actually came together in the last week. Walk for a
new spring
was joined by a group of student from Mt Holyoke college and
their Dean of
religious life, Andrea Ayvazian.
I no sooner got off the subway in Cambridge, than I met the
walk headed for
Boston again to join a very large and noisy rally at government
center.
The last day was different - only about 250 people from
Cambridge to Boston
for an Interfaith service joined by a few congressmen and
selectmen. Sen.
Kennedy sent an aid , who didn't speak. I wore my dove costume
and got
interviewed a few times.
I was at the Amherst candlelight vigil last Sunday. If I
didn't write
you about the peace sign emerging from the snow and the people
lining it
with candles - I will. Pictures don't do it justice. I keep
thinking that
I will find one.
Peace
