War Protest, Tokyo Japan - 03/21/2003 |
Unfotunately, against will of many many people around the world, the
US and UK troops started atacking Iraq...I was in front of the US
embassy on Tokyo, with about 150 other people, calling to "Stop the
war".
At the same time as the US launched the first bomb on Baghdad, the
police started pushing us out of the street, saying that "we were
blocking the sidewalk." However, people were walking through the
crowd if necessary, if anybody was disturbed, it was probably those
who work at the embassy...
Anyway, there was a big rally in Tokyo on the 21st, 56500 people all
together on that day marched around the parliament house and the
streets of Tokyo! The number might be not as big as other countries
but still it is revolutional in Japan!!! Never heard of this many
people coming out to the street before in my life!
The march was peaceful but powerful!
There have been more and more actions and evernts organized to stop
this war! A day sooner, an hour sooner, a minute sooner to SAVE MORE
LIVES!
SO blessed to be....
All love and unity!
Peace
