Jun San And The World Say No to War

Navigation Bar Submit Feedback    I was searching the internet to see the results of the world wide "The World Says No to War" anti war protest when I saw a very familiar face in one of the photos. I just had to make a copy of it and save it for posterity. Jun San, one of my most beloved "heroes", as usual is everywhere peace needs to be supported and sure enough she was with the crowd in New Youk. I made a copy of the article and you can read it below. I hope no one cares because it may have been copyrighted but it is no longer accessible using the URL below so I am going to publish it.

The World Says No to War

Saturday, February 15th, 2003
New York City

Congratulations, everyone! We estimate that at least 500,000 people attended the February 15 "World

Says No to War" protest in New York City -- despite frigid weather, and repeated attempts by the NYPD

to limit our freedom of speech.

Around the world, more than 10 million people protested the war. It was the largest day of coordinated

protest ever known.
