Jon Blickenstaff and Jim Toren are admiring the horse. It is incredible how well the horse behaved with the crowd as active as it was. I am not sure what the officer was attempting to do but I do know that it was not possible to ride the horse down the sidewalk! Just too many people!
When the rally started at 1pm there were about a hundred folks on the square. It didn't take long for the whole square to be filled. By 1 thirty the square was full. I couldn't count individuals because there were just too many. I counted a group of about a hundred and then estimated based on the size of this group and I believe there were over a thousand people taking part. You could not get through the streets very easily!
