With all the bad news coming from Australia we thought it would be a great change of pace to see some good news. Marcus Atkinson's Mum sent us these pictures. Click the images link over on the right to see the album. You can then click the first thumbnail on the left and just keep hitting the Next link to see them all. I promise you they will bring a smile to your face as you go through them!
Advertiser photographer Tait Schmaal captured humans giving this koala a helping hand near Anzac Highway. Michael Manuel and his wife used a soup ladle to feed this koala in their yard at Upper Sturt. Richard Voros has been looking after this koala during the heatwave. Randy Sletvold says this koala was raiding his family's dog bowl. Gerry McAndrew photographed this koala taking a big risk to get a drink at Belair. Carolyn Patrick found this very thirsty koala on her front lawn at Beaumont. "We must have given him around 15 cans of water before he had enough," she said. Sue Phanos of Rossdale Homes says this friendly fellow is a regular visitor to their chemical-free water feature at Fullarton. You gotta keep cool when it's boiling outside. Julie Bent says this blinky bill was feeling a little dozy. Our thanks to all the contributors of these pictures. With all the death and destruction it is really nice to see folks helping these adorable animals. They are creatures of Mother Earth, their lives are sacred and we thank all those involved for helping these critters! |
